Hi, I'm Dane Libart,  a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  I support adults with life challenges. My goal is to help you get your life back and stop feeling overwhelmed anxious and depressed. 

My personal struggles help me relate deeply with my clients.  Over three decades ago my wife yelled, "If you don't get therapy our marriage is over." This marked the beginning of my healing journey.  

Therapy changed my life.  My heart softened and I discovered I wanted to help people change their lives too.  I became a licensed clinical social worker.  My passion is working with individuals, couples and groups.  

My style encourages you to express your thoughts and feelings. You talk, I listen.  I'll ask questions.  I want to build a mental picture of what you are describing.  I want to understand you, and your environment. When you feel safe and we've begun to understand each other healing can happen.

I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I spent several years in private practice psychotherapy settings. I also worked with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and became passionate about working with families and individuals struggling with severe and persistent mental illness. For several years I facilitated family support groups. I later became NAMI's board President and spent many years on the their advisory board. I was subsequently hired by the Orange County California Health Care Agency, Behavioral Health Division to create a family advocacy program. The purpose of this program was to enable the public mental heath system to become more supportive of families dealing with mental illness. The program was recognized by the Orange County Mental Health Associations highest honor, The Thomas F. Riley Community Service Award.  I've also served as President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
